ORYX Expertise was present at the 9th World Water Forum, held in Senegal.
The world water and sanitation community will meet in Senegal, from 22 to 27 March 2021, for the ninth edition of the World Water Forum under an evocative theme: Water security for peace and sustainable development.
Le 9ème The 9th World Water Forum, the first of its kind organized in sub-Saharan Africa, is a great challenge. Its program is focused on the 2030 agenda for transformative actions. This vision is broken down into a roadmap with four priorities: water security and sanitation, cooperation, water for rural development and tools and means.
Bringing together governments, the private sector and civil society organizations to strengthen the implementation of actions needed to achieve Sustainable Development Goal number 6 (SDG6),ème the 9th World Water Forum will also provide a platform for other stakeholders (women's groups, youth, farmers, herders and fishermen) to express themselves and thus contribute to the qualitative transformation of people's daily lives and to the improvement of the performance of the production sectors.
